An Introduction to Open Access Publishing
Event box

Open Access (OA) means the free and permanent access to online research.
Publishing OA means that anyone in the world can read, share and reuse your work.
Open Access is becoming the default way to publish, with many research funders requiring immediate OA for all research articles.
At Queen's, we believe that all research articles should be made open, articles published OA will have greater engagement, views, and downloads.
This session will:
- Explain why open access is important
- Highlight the many benefits of publishing OA
- Outline how students at Queen's can publish their work OA.
This event will be delivered in person.
Staff can book their place by emailing openaccess@qub.ac.uk
Students should book their place on MyFuture.
